Life, much like a seesaw, is filled with ups and downs, positive and negative polarities. But what if I told you that we can find a way to transcend the constant back-and-forth and discover a still point, a fulcrum, where we can straddle both sides with ease?




As children, we often found joy in playing on the seesaw. We would position ourselves on either end, one foot on the positive side and the other on the negative side. In our journey towards finding balance in life, we can take inspiration from those carefree moments on the playground. Rather than exerting all our effort in jumping from the positive side to the negative side, and back again, let's pause and consider an alternative approach. Imagine straddling the fulcrum, the still point between the polarities. By doing so, we allow ourselves to exist in both realms simultaneously - embracing the positive and the negative, the ups and the downs. It's about finding the sweet spot where we can acknowledge and honor both sides without being consumed by either.
