FINDING STILLNESS IN THE BUSYNESS

Most of us don’t escape to the mountain’s to meditate in perfect peace. So how do you find stillness in the busyness—even if your “down time” is on your 15-minute commute?




For just a moment, I escaped the busyness of my life and found a precious oasis of solitude. It was a rare opportunity to step away from the responsibilities of marriage, parenting my two young daughters, and my thriving counseling practice. In those blissful 36 hours of "me-time," I felt a renewed sense of energy and inspiration.


Sometimes, it's easy to forget that finding time for self-reflection doesn't always require grand gestures or elaborate plans. It can be as simple as taking a few moments to meditate or practicing mindful breathing. The key is to create small pockets of stillness in our daily lives, where we can reconnect with ourselves and tap into our inner wisdom.
